Essential technologies
Authentication and security technologies keep your account secure. Interface settings remember choices you request. The first-party clinvio_consent cookie and clinvio_cookie_consent local-storage record remember your cookie preferences for up to 180 days. A necessary pending-consent record is kept locally until it can be saved to our consent ledger.
These technologies are separate from optional Analytics. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent registration, sign-in or use of the platform.
Optional Analytics
With your permission, ClinVio loads Google Analytics 4 on its public website and enables optional usage events. Before consent, the Google Analytics script does not load and these usage events are blocked. Private portal routes are excluded from optional Analytics.
Google Analytics can receive page, device and network information when enabled. Its first-party _ga and ga* cookies distinguish visits and maintain measurement sessions. ClinVio configures their lifetime to no more than 180 days. Google signals, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain disabled.
Cookie consent is separate from marketing-email consent. Accepting Analytics does not subscribe you to email or authorize sharing your professional profile.
Regional choices
European Union / EEA and United Kingdom: optional Analytics is off until you explicitly accept it. You can reject it or withdraw consent at any time.
United States: ClinVio also keeps optional Analytics off until you accept it. A supported browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal keeps optional Analytics disabled. ClinVio does not deploy advertising trackers.
Other regions or an uncertain location: the same opt-in default applies. You can choose your privacy region in Cookie preferences to view the applicable notice.
A suggested region is a convenience, not a verified location. It never changes the default of keeping optional Analytics off.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie preferences on any page to accept, reject or change optional Analytics. Choices expire after 180 days, or sooner when the consent policy changes. Turning Analytics off disables collection and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site.
You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking storage may mean your choice cannot be remembered on a later visit. Essential session technology is needed for account access.
Consent records
We keep a server-side record of consent or rejection, the policy version, region, time and page where the choice was made. Anonymous choices use a random decision reference, without collecting a name, email or IP address for the consent record. For signed-in users, the record may be associated with their account. Records support consent management and are not used for advertising.
Third-party services and contact
Hosting, authentication, email, payment or document services may process data needed to provide the service. Optional website Analytics is controlled by your preferences described above.
